The 1965 Christmas season was a very special time for Beatles fans. While previous albums had been collections of great performances, Rubber Soul is best appreciated when considered as an entire record - one that set a new standard for the Beatles and rock albums. George Martin's reflections indicate that this record's cohesive and innovative nature was intentional. "It was the first album to present a new, growing Beatles to the world. For the first time we began to think of albums as art on their own, as complete entities."

FAB 4 COLLECTIBLES PROUDLY OFFERS THE VERY ELUSIVE EARLY 1969 SECOND STEREO PRESSING OF "RUBBER SOUL" - FEATURING THE ULTRA-RARE LABEL VARIATION THAT LISTS THE TRACK "NORWEGIAN WOOD" MISSPELLED AS "NORWEIGIAN WOOD".  This pristiNE RECORD HAS the black & yellow Parlophone label, WITH Both labels carrYING the 'Sold in UK...' text AND 'The Gramophone Co..' worded rims. THE MATRIX NUMBERS ARE: "YEX 178-3" AND "YEX 179-3".  THE Stamper codes ARE : "2 / RR" AND "2 / GH". THE CONDITION OF THE VINYL IS A SHIMMERING NEAR MINT, DISPLAYING Factory-fresh deep-gloss playing surfaces bearing just a couple of harmless light marks fROm the inner-sleeve. THE Immaculate labels bearS ONLY two or three FAINT, small spindle marks only.

THE DISC IS Housed in a front laminated, tri-flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse LTD.' printed stereo cover, WHICH GRADES A BEAUTIFUL NEAR MINT MINUS. IT'S An outstanding example and a  worthY partner to the disc. The mirror-like front panel laminate is clean AND unscratched. the only traces of wear are a single 'thumbnail' and a few spine wrinkles. All corners AND opening edges are sharp and undamaged. the rear panel is as clean and white as it left the shops 50 years ago with just two aged finGer marks to the opening edge. All flip-BACKS, both seams and the spine text are in perfect condition.

THIS MOST AMAZING SET IS Complete with ITS original 1968-69  EMI ADVERTISEMENT INNER DUST SLEEVE. IT REMAINS NEAR MINT, Clean AND crisp, with light storage wrinkles only. THE IMAGE OF "SGT. PEPPER'S LONELY HEARTS CLUB BAND" COVER IS LISTED AMONG THE ADS.
