"THE ED SULLIVAN SHOW"
CBS
TELEVISION STUDIO NO. 50,
1697 BROADWAY AT 53RD STREET, NEW YORK CITY

IN COMMEMORATION OF THE 53RD ANNIVERSARY OF THE FIRST U.S. VISIT, WE PROUDLY OFFER THIS EXTRAORDINARY SIGNED ITEM FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION.

The Beatles' rise to prominence in the United States on February 7, 1964 was a significant development in the history of the band's commercial Success. In addition to establishing the Beatles' international stature, it changed attitudes to popular music in the United States.

ON SUNDAY EVENING, FEBRUARY 9, 1964, THE BEATLES PERFORMED ON THE ED SULLIVAN SHOW  BEFORE A THEN-RECORD AMERICAN TELEVISION AUDIENCE OF OVER 73 MILLION PEOPLE. THE SOUND AND IMAGES OF THE GROUP'S PERFORMANCE WAS FOREVER EMBEDDED IN THEIR MINDS, ALONG WITH MEMORIES OF WHERE THEY WERE WHEN PRESIDENT KENNEDY WAS ASSASSINATED AND WHEN MAN FIRST WALKED ON THE MOON.

THIS MONAURAL ISSUE OF THE GROUP'S CAPITOL DEBUT ALBUM "MEET THE BEATLES" WAS AUTOGRAPHED BEAUTIFULLY IN BLUE BALLPOINT ON THE BACK COVER FOR THE LIGHTING TECHNICIAN OF "THE ED SULLIVAN SHOW" ON THE DAY OF THE INFAMOUS PROGRAM, SUNDAY, THE 9TH OF FEBRUARY, 1964.

"LOVE ME DO" B/W "P.S. I LOVE YOU"
PARLOPHONE 45-R 4949
RELEASED OCTOBER 5, 1962
EARLIEST POSSIBLE FIRST ISSUE STOCK COPY WITH 'JR' DEMO STAMPER

Fully-Signed "LOVE ME DO" A-SIDE LABEL From The BEATLES' Dawson's Music Shop SIGNING session of October 6, 1962

for only thirty minutes beginning at 4pm on the afternoon of saturday, october 6, 1962 - the day following the release of their debut single - the beatles stepped nervously into a new world, giving them the briefest taste of just how the world had changed for them, and how it would never be the same again. it was a small-scale, relatively inauspicious signing session at dawson's music store at 29 Albert Road in Widnes, Cheshire, a satellite town, 15 miles  southeast of liverpool.

FAB 4 COLLECTIBLES IS MOST PROUD TO OFFER a sensational EARLY first pressing of The Beatles' DEBUT single, signed at Dawson's, obtained by a local Liverpool fan named robert Edwards, WHO HAD ATTENDED THE SIGNING. All four Beatles have signed their full names beautifully in ballpoint pen on the a-side  "Love Me Do" label.

due to the fact that the signing session lasted just over thirty minutes, to own a copy of the silver and red label "love me do" single bearing all four signatures of the beatles is very valuable property.

this small scale, relatively trivial event on church street in widnes at dawson's on october 6, 1962 was a fleeting glimpse of the madness which awaited the beatles.

  RARE 1963 DEZO HOFFMAN 6" X 8" PUBLICITY PHOTOGRAPH
AUTOGRAPHED ON PHOTO BY THE BEATLES.

SIGNED IN BLUE BALLPOINT CIRCA LATE 1963.

During their meteoric rise in popularity, THE BEATLES hired Dezo Hoffman to be their first professional photographer. He would go on to chronicle their experiences and as a firsthand participant, captured some of the most bold, imaginative and sensitive images ever produced of THE BEATLES.

FAB 4 COLLECTIBLES OFFERS HERE A RARELY SEEN DEZO HOFFMANN BLACK AND WHITE PHOTOGRAPH OF THE BEATLES. THIS 6" X 8" EXAMPLE  HAS BEEN SIGNED BY THE GROUP CIRCA LATE 1963, and is considered rarer than an authentically signed collarless suit session "fan club card", also shot by dezo hoffman.

the photo was snapped at russell square, bloomsbury, london on july 2, 1963. this location was one of many that day, as dezo had named the day's shoot as "a day in the life of the beatles".

WHEN THESE PUBLICITY PHOTOS DO SURFACE AND ARE SIGNED, THE SIGNATURES ARE USUALLY THOSE OF EITHER BEATLES ROAD MANAGER NEIL ASPINALL OR BEATLES ASSISTANT MAL EVANS.

THE BEATLES HAVE SIGNED IN BLUE BALLPOINT NEAR THEIR RESPECTIVE IMAGE, AND ARE EXCELLENT EXAMPLES FROM THIS PERIOD.

SIGNED ON THE INSIDE BY THE BEATLES

AUTOGRAPHED TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 12, 1967
GRAND HOTEL, PLYMOUTH, ENGLAND
DURING FILMING OF "MAGICAL MYSTERY TOUR"
