RUBBER SOUL CAPITOL ST-2442 STEREO RELEASED: 12/6/65 WEST COAST, #6 COVER IN ORIGINAL SHRINKWRAP. WITH RARE RECTANGULAR YELLOW "MICHELLE" SONG STICKER!! WITH "STEREO" BANNER IN THE WHITE BAND BORDER OF LP EDGE. (CAP2442.SC2, SPIZER). WITH LARGE SPLIT BLACK DOT, RECORD NUMBER, AND WITH "FILE UNDER:THE BEATLES" PRINT. 1ST LABEL WITHOUT "THE BEATLES" ABOVE THEIR NAMES. THESE RECTANGULAR SONG STICKERS (CAP2442.S2, SPIZER) FOR THIS LP ARE BECOMING MEGA-RARE AND THIS EXAMPLE IS IN SOLID AND BRIGHT VG+++ CONDITION. IT IS AN ATTRACTIVE 3" X 1½" YELLOW STICKER WITH "HEAR PAUL SING "MICHELLE" AND "ORIGINAL BEATLES' VERSION" IN BLACK PRINT. THE ADDED BONUS HERE IS THAT IT IS APPLIED ON THE RARER "RUBBER SOUL" COVER THAT HAS THE "STEREO" BANNER IN THE WHITE BAND BORDER. THIS WONDERFUL NEAR MINT MINUS COVER IS VERY CLEAN, AND OF COURSE, REMAINS IN THE ORIGINAL SHRINKWRAP. MINOR FLAW IS 2" SHRINK SEAM SEPARATION ON TOP RIGHT EDGE, YET SHRINK REMAINS INTACT. A TOUCH OF MELLOWING TONE IN THAT AREA. BOTTOM RIGHT CORNER HAS A BIT OF TIP WEAR. SHRINKWRAP WAS APPLIED SO TIGHTLY IN THE ORIGINAL SEAL PROCESS, TOP RIGHT EDGE WHERE "FILE UNDER:THE BEATLES" PRINT IS LOCATED IS SQUEEZED A BIT. THE STUNNING ACCOMPANYING JACKSONVILLE PRESSING OF THE RECORD IS AN ABSOLUTE JEWEL AND IS IN UNPLAYED "AS NEW" MINT MINUS CONDITION. THE LABELS ARE THE REVISED VARIATION THAT HAS THE ADDED "THE BEATLES" PRINT ABOVE THEIR INDIVIDUAL NAMES. THE MACHINE STAMPED "0" IN THE RUN-OUT GROOVE DESIGNATES THIS AS A JACKSONVILLE PRESSING. |
