THE EARLY BEATLES
CAPITOL ST-2309 STEREO
RELEASED: 3/22/65
WEST COAST ISSUE
RARE COLUMBIA RECORDS CONTRACT PRESSING
IN ORIGINAL FACTORY SHRINKWRAP.
THEY DON'T COME BETTER THAN THIS. A STUNNING WEST COAST ISSUE THAT IS SIMPLY IMPECCABLE.
THE COVER REMAINS IN THE ORIGINAL FACTORY SHRINKWRAP (2 "BREATH HOLES" ON FRONT
SHRINK) AND IS A FLAWLESS MINT MINUS. JUST A TINY WRAP TEAR ON UPPER LEFT CORNER
WITH NO AFFECT TO THE CORNER IN THAT AREA.
THE RECORD IS AN "AS NEW" MINT UNPLAYED JEWEL.
THE WEST COAST BERT-CO FLAT FINISH LABELS ARE SUBLIME.
MAKING THIS EXAMPLE EVEN MORE SPECTACULAR, THIS IS A COLUMBIA RECORDS
CONTRACT PRESSING FROM THEIR SANTA MARIA, CALIFORNIA PLANT. COLUMBIA
MANUFACTURED ALBUMS HAVE A 2 11/16" DIAMETER RING LOCATED
1 3/16" FROM THE CENTER HOLE. THE TRAIL OFF AREAS HAVE
HAND ETCHED MATRIX AND A LACQUER NUMBER "53".
THE MATCHING NEAR MINT LOS ANGELES LATE 1964 CAPITOL RECORDS RED ORANGE RUST INNER DUST SLEEVE
("PE 12-2AL" IS PRINTED IN THE LOWER LEFT CORNER) IS ALSO INCLUDED. THIS
INDICATES THAT THIS RECORD IS AN EARLY FIRST RUN OF THIS TITLE.
