ORIGINAL 1970 ONE SIDED PROMOTIONAL ONLY 45 ISSUED BY APPLE RECORDS TO PROMOTE THE FILM, 'LET IT BE'. THE ACTUAL TITLE IS 'DIALOGUE FROM THE BEATLES MOTION PICTURE LET IT BE' (BEATLES PROMO - 1970). THE REVERSE SIDE HAS A SILENT PLAY GROOVE WITH A BLANK WHITE LABEL.

ACCORDING TO BEATLES EXPERT AND AUTHOR BRUCE SPIZER, AND PUBLISHED IN HIS BOOK "THE BEATLES ON APPLE RECORDS" (PAGE 200), MEMBERS OF THE AMERICAN BEATLES FAN CLUB WERE SENT THIS PROMOTIONAL RECORD.

MEASURING 13" x 13", This is the absolute ORIGINAL AND AUTHENTIC ISSUE with the print "Made in Great Britain" at the bottom of the front of the tray (COUNTERFEITS read "Made in England"). The ORIGINAL U.K. "Worcester Mark" label sticker REMAINS adhered to the back of the tray, WITH A TINY CORNER OF THE LABEL TORN AWAY.

ALSO INCLUDES THE INFAMOUS LUDWIG DRUM COMPANY FULL PAGE AD, FEATURING RINGO ON HIS LUDWIG SET, CONGRATULATING THE BEATLES FOR THEIR 'TRIUMPHANT' U.S. TOUR.

THE ARP LOGO SIGNIFIES THAT THE PROMO RECORD LIKE ITS PREDECESSOR WAS MANUFACTURED IN OWOSSO, MICHIGAN.

THE CONDITION OF THIS PROMO COPY IS EXTREMELY CLEAN, WITH A DEEP SHEEN AND HIGH GLOSS GRADED AS NEAR MINT MINUS ON BOTH SIDES. THE LABELS ARE NEAR MINT MINUS AS WELL.

THE BEATLES ARE PICTURED ON THE FRONT COVER AND THE FEATURE STORY HAS SEVERAL PHOTOS. MEMORABILIA FROM THE GROUP'S VEGAS SHOW ARE EXTREMELY RARE AND THIS MAGAZINE JUST MIGHT BE THE RAREST OF ALL.

DEMAND WAS SO GREAT FOR THE BEATLES TRADING CARDS THAT TOPPS HAD TO DELAY PRODUCTION OF THEIR 1964 BASEBALL SET TO SATISFY ORDERS FOR THE BEATLE CARDS.

THE BEATLES 'COLOR CARDS' SERIES NUMBERED 1-64, WERE TOPPS' FIRST SET UTILIZING COLOR PHOTOS - AND HERE WE PRESENT THE OBSCURE AND VERY RARE 'RACK PACK' FORMAT THAT WAS ISSUED OTHER THAN THE STANDARD WAX-PACK SET OF FOUR CARDS AND A STICK OF BUBBLE GUM. THESE 'RACK PACKS' WERE ISSUED FOR A SHORT PERIOD AND CONTAINED 30 CARDS.

THIS STILL SEALED STORE STOCK EXAMPLE IS ABSOLUTELY MAGNIFICENT, WITH THE HEADER CARD STILL ATTACHED, AND THE HOLE USED FOR HANGING THE ITEM ON THE STORE RACK REMAINS UN-PERFORATED.

NO DOUBT THESE EARLY, FIRST LABEL COPIES WITHOUT THE PUBLISHING CREDITS "BMI" OR "ASCAP" ON THE LABELS, WERE SWEPT OFF THE SHELVES DURING THE THE ONSLAUGHT OF BEATLEMANIA AND MOST HAVE BEEN PLAYED BEYOND RECOGNITION AND TOSSED OUT. TODAY, ONLY ABOUT 20 TO 25 EXAMPLES HAVE BEEN VERIFIED SO FAR TO SURVIVE, AND MOST OF THOSE COPIES ARE IN VG OR LESS CONDITION. THIS MONO EXAMPLE IS A VERY HIGH GRADE EXAMPLE OF THIS VERY HISTORIC ALBUM.
