FAB 4 COLLECTIBLES PROUDLY OFFERS HERE A LOS ANGELES, WEST COAST THIRD STATE MONO (PEELED) BUTCHER COVER. THIS IS AN OUTSTANDING TOP NOTCH, PROFESSIONAL AND CAPABLE EXAMPLE OF THE 'PEEL' PROCESS.. FOLLOWING THE DIFFICULT PEEL JOB, THE REVEALED BUTCHER SLICK HERE STILL DISPLAYS RICH, BOLD TEXTURES OF THE ORIGINAL BUTCHER SLICK IN ALL ITS GLORY. WE HAVE NEVER SEEN BETTER THAN THIS. THE REVEALED ORIGINAL "BUTCHER" COVER IS IN STUPENDOUS NEAR MINT CONDITION. THERE ARE NO BLEMISHES AT ALL RESULTING FROM THE PEELING PROCESS.

ALSO INCLUDED IS THE ORIGINAL PEELED "TRUNK COVER" TOP SLICK AND THE FACTORY SHRINK WRAPPING THAT ORIGINALLY COVERED THE LP ALBUM.  THE HUGE BONUS HERE  IS THE FACT THE THE PEELED "TRUNK COVER" SLICK THAT WAS REMOVED FROM THE FRONT WAS RETAINED INTACT AND IS INCLUDED HERE AS WELL ("Peeled or THIRD state" refers to the fact that the "Trunk Cover" that was adhered over the famous Butcher Cover beneath has been successfully removed to reveal the butcher cover). This "paste over" replacement slick was originally pasted over the butcher cover to conceal the "controversial" nature of the butcher photo.

THE OVERALL CONDITION OF THE COVER IS VG+++ OR BETTER. IT REMAINS BRIGHT WITH VIVID COLORS. THE BACK COVER IS A CLEAN WHITE AS WELL. ONLY MINOR ISSUES IS THE TOP AND BOTTOM RIGHT EDGE TIPS  HAVE A ¼" SPLIT EACH. THERE ARE NO OTHER ISSUES AT ALL WITH THIS COVER.

THE MATCHING WEST COAST MONO RECORD ACCOMPANIES THE COVER, AND GRADES A SUPERB "AS NEW" NEAR MINT.  ALSO INCLUDES ITS ORIGINAL 1966 "CAPITOL '66 SOUNDS GREAT" ORANGE ADVERTISEMENT INNER DUST SLEEVE.

AS AN ADDED ATTRACTION, A "COPY" OF THE CAPITOL RECORDS ORIGINAL "RECALL LETTER" THAT WENT OUT TO ALL DISTRIBUTORS & PROMOTERS ON JUNE 14, 1966 - IS ALSO INCLUDED.

THIS WORLD CLASS EXAMPLE OF A MONO THIRD STATE BUTCHER IS ACCOMPANIED BY A LETTER OF AUTHENTICITY FROM PERRY COX, PROMINENT BEATLES U.S. RECORDS EXPERT AND AUTHOR OF "THE BEATLES RECORD PRICE GUIDE" SERIES OF BOOKS.

ALSO INCLUDED IS A TWO-SIDED CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTICITY FROM GARY HEIN, OF HEIN'S RARE COLLECTIBLES, WHO PERFORMED THE SUPERB "PEELING" TASK FOR THIS PARTICULAR COVER. IN HIS CERTIFICATE, MR. HEIN DESCRIBES THE THIN SUPERFICIAL "RAZOR" CUT LINE THAT EXISTS ON THE BACK COVER AS "THE RESULT FROM THE CAPITOL RECORDS PROCESS OF REMOVING THE SHRINK WRAP WHEN THIS COVER WAS A FIRST STATE. AFTER THE SHRINK WRAP WAS REMOVED, ONLY THEN COULD THE COVER BE PASTED-OVER AND RESHIPPED BACK OUT TO THE MARKET PLACE".
