This "paste over" replacement slick was originally pasted over the butcher cover to conceal the "controversial" nature of the butcher photo. THE OVERALL CONDITION OF THE COVER IS VG+++ OR BETTER. ALSO INCLUDED IS A TWO-SIDED CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTICITY FROM GARY HEIN, OF HEIN'S RARE COLLECTIBLES, WHO PERFORMED THE SUPERB "PEELING" TASK FOR THIS PARTICULAR COVER. IN HIS CERTIFICATE, MR. HEIN DESCRIBES THE THIN SUPERFICIAL "RAZOR" CUT LINE THAT EXISTS ON THE BACK COVER AS "THE RESULT FROM THE CAPITOL RECORDS PROCESS OF REMOVING THE SHRINK WRAP WHEN THIS COVER WAS A FIRST STATE. AFTER THE SHRINK WRAP WAS REMOVED, ONLY THEN COULD THE COVER BE PASTED-OVER AND RESHIPPED BACK OUT TO THE MARKET PLACE".
