DESCRIPTION "LONG TALL SALLY" (PARLOPHONE GEP 8913), 7" EXTENDED PLAY (EP) 45, RELEASED LATE JUNE 1964, AUTOGRAPHED ON THE BACK SLEEVE BY THE BEATLES (ACTUAL IMAGES) HERE WE OFFER A MOST STUNNING SET OF BEATLES AUTOGRAPHS IN BLUE BALLPOINT PEN ON THE BACK SLEEVE OF THE GROUP'S FIFTH EXTENDED PLAY. IT WAS SIGNED SHORTLY AFTER ITS RELEASE at the ABC theatre, Blackpool ON SUNDAY JULY 19, 1964, WHERE THE BEATLES APPEARED ON THE LIVE VARIETY TELEVISION PROGRAMME BLACKPOOL NIGHT OUT - THE SUMMER EDITION OF BIG NIGHT OUT. THE SHOW WAS NETWORKED TO ALL ITV STATIONS BY ABC TELEVISION DIRECT FROM THE TOWN'S ABC THEATRE BETWEEN 8:25 AND 9:25PM. AS WELL AS PERFORMING FIVE SONGS - A HARD DAY'S NIGHT, AND I LOVE HER, IF I FELL, THINGS WE SAID TODAY, AND APPROPRIATELY, FINISHING UP WITH ... LONG TALL SALLY, THEY ALSO PARTICIPATED IN TWO COMEDY SKETCHES. THE AUTOGRAPHS ON THIS LONG TALL SALLY SLEEVE (VERY FIRST ISSUED SLEEVE, PAR8913.MC1A, SPIZER) ARE ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL - DARK AND BOLD, REMAINING AS BRIGHT AND CLEAN AS THE DAY SIGNED. THERE IS NO AGE TONING OR STAINS TO The sleeve ITSELF. no seam splits, graffiti or restoration WHATSOEVER. the only flaws EVIDENT IS a tiny nick on the front cover bottom right and a laminate crease (MOST LIKELY FACTORY INDUCED) to the front top left hand corner. THERE IS some minor scattered creases to the front laminate but nothing serious. inevitably, there is LIGHT ring wear on the sleeve which is very normal, FOR theSE SLEEVES PRODUCED FOR the BRITISH EP's are very thin and flimsy. OTHERWISE, THIS WONDERFULLY AUTOGRAPHED LONG TALL SALLY EXTENDED PLAY SLEEVE IS as good as ONE IS likeLY to find, AND AN EP TITLE THAT RARELY SURFACES THAT IS SIGNED BY THE BEATLES (the twist and shout ep is the most commonly found that are autographed). The ACCOMPANYING AND ORIGINAL EP RECORD IS THE correct FIRST PRESSING (PAR8913.MR1A, SPIZER), AND is the exact same one when purchased in JUNE 1964. it REMAINS IN SOLID VG++ CONDITION. a letter from the original owner IS INCLUDED, WHOSE BROTHER WORKED AS A LOCAL REPORTER FOR THE BLACKPOOL GAZETTE AND HAD OBTAINED THE AUTOGRAPHS PRIOR TO THE BEATLES' PERFORMANCE. ACCOMPANIED BY LIFETIME LETTERS OF AUTHENTICITY FROM FRANK CAIAZZO AND FAB 4 COLLECTIBLES.
