"SOMETHING NEW" CAPITOL T-2180 MONO RELEASED: 7/20/64 RARER WEST COAST
PRESSING #6 COVER |
||
DESCRIPTION (ACTUAL IMAGES) FAB 4 COLLECTIBLES PROUDLY OFFERS HERE A MOST INCREDIBLE ORIGINAL FACTORY SEALED MONO PRESSING OF CAPITOL'S THIRD BEATLES LP ALBUM RELEASE "SOMETHING NEW" FROM THE SUMMER OF 1964, WHICH INCLUDED TRACKS FROM "A HARD DAY'S NIGHT". THE ALBUM REMAINS factory sealed in the fully intact shrink wrap. The original FACTORY "breathe holes" ARE EVIDENT, SHOWING two on each side. The front cover has a 2¾" X 1¾" record store PRICE sticker affixed to the shrink wrap in the upper left-hand corner.
The cover contains the factory
designator number "6" identifying the pressing by Capitol Records WEST COAST
Pressing Plant in Los Angeles. USUALLY, THE FACTORY NUMBER APPEARS ON THE
BACK COVERS OF CAPITOL ALBUMS NEAR THE BOTTOM RIGHT CORNER. THIS COVER HAS QUITE
A UNIQUE FEATURE, AS THIS NUMBER "6" IS VISIBLE NEAR THE BOTTOM TIP
DIRECTLY ON THE SPINE. THIS OCCURRED DUE TO THE BACK SLICK BEING IMPROPERLY
ALIGNED AND APPLIED A BIT TOO FAR OVER AND WRAPPED AROUND.
