"SONGS, PICTURES AND STORIES OF THE FABULOUS BEATLES"
VEE-JAY VJLP-1092, MONO ¾ GATEFOLD COVER RELEASED: 10/12/64
CONDITION: STILL SEALED |

DESCRIPTION (ACTUAL IMAGES) VEE-JAY'S 'SONGS PICTURES AND STORIES OF THE FABULOUS BEATLES" ALBUM IS A FANCY RE-PACKAGING OF THE SECOND VERSION OF "INTRODUCING THE BEATLES". THE COVER HAS A GATEFOLD WHOSE FLAP IS TWO-THIRDS OF THE FULL JACKET'S SIZE. THE BACK COVER LEAVES NO DOUBT THAT VEE-JAY WAS MARKETING THIS RECORD FOR YOUNG GIRLS. BELOW RINGO'S COLOR-TINTED PICTURE IS THE PHRASE "RINGO LOVES" AND A BLUE DASH-BORDERED HEART CONTAINING THE PHRASE "PICTURE HERE". SIMILAR PICTURES, LANGUAGE AND HEARTS APPEAR FOR THE OTHER BEATLES. TO OUR KNOWLEDGE, THIS STILL SEALED EXAMPLE IS ONLY THE FOURTH SEALED EXAMPLE TO HAVE SURFACED - AND OUR VERY FIRST SEALED COPY TO OFFER IN 25 YEARS.
THE SEALED GATEFOLD ALBUM IS ACCOMPANIED BY A LETTER OF
AUTHENTICITY FROM WELL-KNOWN BEATLES RECORD COLLECTOR EXTRAORDINAIRE, EXPERT,
AND BEATLES PRICE GUIDE AUTHOR STANLEY (STAN THE BEATLEMAN) PANENKA. MR. PANENKA'S
ACCURATELY DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE ALBUM IS INCLUDED IN HIS LETTER AS SHOWN
BELOW.
