CAPITOL RECORDS PICTURE SLEEVES & 45 SINGLES / EPs
1964 RELEASES THE BEATLES' SECOND ALBUM (JUKEBOX COMPACT 33) CAPITOL SXA 2080, STEREO RELEASED: APRIL 1964 PRESSED ON EAST COAST ONLY DURING THE SIXTIES, CAPITOL ISSUED STEREO COMPACT 33 DISCS OF SOME OF THE LABEL'S MOST POPULAR ALBUMS FOR JUKEBOX PLAY. THESE 7" RECORDS HAD A SMALL CENTER HOLE AND PLAYED AT 331/3 RPM. THESE MINI-ALBUMS WERE NORMALLY PROGRAMMED WITH THREE SONGS FROM THE ALBUM ON EACH SIDE OF THE DISC. THE SONGS FEATURED ON THE COMPACT 33 RECORDS WERE OFTEN UNAVAILABLE IN THE 45 SINGLES FORMAT. THE DISCS WERE HOUSED IN A CARDBOARD JACKET, WHICH HAD A MINIATURE REPRODUCTION OF THE ALBUM COVER ON THE FRONT AND A BLANK WHITE BACK SIDE. CAPITOL PRODUCED THREE BEATLES COMPACT 33'S STARTING WITH "MEET THE BEATLES", THEN "THE BEATLES' SECOND ALBUM" AND "SOMETHING NEW" BEING THE FINAL TWO. ALL THREE WERE MANUFACTURED BY CAPITOL'S SCRANTON FACTORY. WE OFFER HERE, A MOST SPLENDID EXAMPLE OF THE SECOND BEATLES COMPACT 33, "THE BEATLES' SECOND ALBUM", RELEASED IN APRIL 1964 AT THE TIME OF THE RELEASE OF THE LP ALBUM. |

IT REMAINS STILL SEALED IN THE ORIGINAL FACTORY BAGGYWRAP - AND IS TOTALLY COMPLETE - INCLUDING THE ACCOMPANYING ORIGINAL FIVE CONNECTED SEEBURG 3" X 1" JUKEBOX BLUE TITLE PLASTIC STRIPS AND ITS ORIGINAL THREE 1⅞" X 1⅞" MINI LP COVER PAPER INSERTS WHICH ARE VISIBLE THROUGH THE BACK SIDE OF THE BAGGYWRAP. THE COMPACT 33 DISC IS BARELY VISIBLE THROUGH THE MOUTH OPENING OF THE COVER. A STILL SEALED COPY OF ANY OF THE THREE BEATLES' CAPITOL JUKEBOX ISSUES IS QUITE REWARDING AND AMONG THE RAREST TO OBTAIN. THIS IS OUR VERY FIRST THAT WE HAVE ACQUIRED AND OFFERED.
