DESCRIPTION (ACTUAL IMAGES) DURING THE SIXTIES, CAPITOL ISSUED STEREO COMPACT 33 DISCS OF SOME OF THE LABEL'S MOST POPULAR ALBUMS FOR JUKEBOX PLAY. THESE 7" RECORDS HAD A SMALL CENTER HOLE AND PLAYED AT 331/3 RPM. THESE MINI-ALBUMS WERE NORMALLY PROGRAMMED WITH THREE SONGS FROM THE ALBUM ON EACH SIDE OF THE DISC. THE SONGS FEATURED ON THE COMPACT 33 RECORDS WERE OFTEN UNAVAILABLE IN THE 45 SINGLES FORMAT. THE COMPACT 33 DISCS WERE PRODUCED WITH THE CAPITOL GLOSSY LABEL BLACK BACKDROPS, WITH THE OUTER RIM COLOR BAND AND THE CAPITOL LOGO AT THE BOTTOM. A LIMITED NUMBER OF THE DISCS WERE HOUSED IN A CARDBOARD JACKET, WHICH HAD A
MINIATURE REPRODUCTION OF THE ALBUM COVER ON THE FRONT AND A BLANK WHITE BACK
SIDE, AND INCLUDED FIVE CONNECTED SEEBURG
3" X 1" JUKEBOX BLUE TITLE PLASTIC STRIPS AND THREE 17/8"

THE STAR TITLE STRIP COMPANY.
