VERSION 1 - TITLES ON BACK COVER

WITHOUT QUESTION, THIS IS THE LP THAT IS AMONG THE RAREST OF ALL COMMERCIALLY ISSUED U.S. BEATLES ALBUMS - THE FIRST NEAR MINT EXAMPLE TO HAVE SURFACED - MAKING IT ONE OF, IF NOT, THE VERY BEST CONDITION EXAMPLE KNOWN TO EXIST.

OF ALL THE BEATLES VEE-JAY ALBUMS AND ANY OTHER U.S. COMMERCIAL ISSUED ALBUM, THIS PARTICULAR VERSION OF "INTRODUCING THE BEATLES" IS THE RAREST VARIATION. IT IS THE EARLY 1964 VERSION ONE STEREOPHONIC PRESSING FEATURING THE "TITLES ON BACK" COVER.

WITH APPROXIMATELY FIFTEEN TO TWENTY OF THIS COVER VARIATION HAVING BEEN VERIFIED TO EXIST AT ALL - IT MAKES IT MUCH RARER AND SCARCER THAN BOTH THE VEE-JAY "AD BACK" STEREO ALBUM, AND "THE BEATLES AND FRANK IFIELD" STEREO "PORTRAIT COVER" ALBUM.

THE COVER HAS THE "SEARS & ROEBUCK" LOOSE STYLE BAGGY- WRAPPING STILL RETAINED. THE BAGGY HAS DONE ITS JOB IN PRESERVING THE COVER IN ITS 'AS NEW' NEW NEAR MINT CONDITION. THE RECORD IS THE VERY FIRST LABEL VERSION ONE STEREO VARIATION - AND IS AMONG THE BEST EXAMPLES OF THIS DISC WE HAVE SEEN. THE VINYL IS TRULY 'AS NEW' NEAR MINT WITH NEAR MINT LABELS. THERE IS NO EVIDENCE OF BEING PLAYED.

THIS IS INDEED A WORLD CLASS EXAMPLE OF ONE OF THE ALL TIME RAREST BEATLES ALBUMS IN THE WORLD. THIS IS OUR FIRST OFFERING OF THIS MEGA-RARITY, AND UNLESS SEALED PERFECT, IT CANNOT BE UPGRADED.

ACCOMPANIED BY LETTER OF AUTHENTICITY FROM PERRY COX, BEATLES U.S. RECORDS EXPERT, AUTHOR OF "THE BEATLES RECORD PRICE GUIDE" SERIES OF BOOKS.

VERSION 1

(ACTUAL IMAGES)

THE SECOND VARIATION OF THE "INTRODUCING THE BEATLES" BACK COVER IS A GLOSSY BLANK WHITE SLICK AND KNOWN AMONG COLLECTORS AS THE "BLANK BACK" COVER. SOME BELIEVE THAT THESE COVERS MAY BE THE RESULT OF A PRODUCTION ERROR, OR PERHAPS THAT VEE-JAY USED THESE COVERS FOR PROMOTIONAL ISSUES OF THE LP. THE CORRECT HISTORICAL FACT IS THAT THE BLANK BACK WAS A LIMITED AND SHORT TRANSITIONAL RUN THAT WAS A SUBSTITUTION AFTER ALL AD BACK SLICKS HAD BEEN USED, BUT JUST PRIOR TO THE RECEIPT OF THE THIRD BACK COVER THAT LISTED THE SONG TITLES. ONE THING IS CERTAIN, THE "BLANK BACK" PARTICULARLY IN STEREO, ARE EXTREMELY RARE.

OFFERED HERE IS THE VERY BEST AND EXEMPLARY EXAMPLE OF THE ULTRA-RARE VERSION ONE STEREOPHONIC "BLANK BACK" WE HAVE EVER ACQUIRED, THIS BEING ONLY THE THIRD COPY WE HAVE OFFERED.

THE ORIGINAL NEAR MINT ACCOMPANYING VERSION ONE STEREO RECORD FEATURES THE LABEL VARIATION WITH THE COLORBAND AND OVAL LOGO WITH "STEREO" AT THE 12'OCLOCK POSITION IT HAS CENTERED SONG TITLES AND SONGWRITERS' CREDITS WITH "INTRODUCING THE BEATLES" IN MEDIUM PRINT AND  "LONG PLAYING" AND "MICROGROOVE" ON THE LABEL. THIS VARIATION WAS PRESSED BY ARP.

THE SET IS ACCOMPANIED WITH THE ORIGINAL VEE-JAY DIE-CUT GENERIC "WHITE" INNER DUST SLEEVE.

THIS AMAZING, WORLD CLASS, HIGH-END EXAMPLE OF AN "INTRODUCING THE BEATLES" STEREOPHONIC "BLANK BACK'" WOULD BE QUITE AN ADDITION TO AN IMPORTANT BEATLES RECORD COLLECTION.
