THE REISSUE COVER FEATURES THE STRIKING PORTRAIT OF THE BEATLES PREVIOUSLY USED ON THE TOLLIE "LOVE ME DO" 45 SINGLE PICTURE SLEEVE.  THE BEATLES SONGS ARE PROMINENTLY LISTED ON THE COVER. THERE ARE BOTH MONO AND STEREO VERSIONS OF THIS COVER, WHICH IS KNOWN AMONG COLLECTORS AS THE "PORTRAIT COVER". ON THE BACK COVER, BOTH USE THE SAME LINER NOTES SLICK FROM THE FIRST ISSUE OF "JOLLY WHAT!".

APPARENTLY, THE FLYERS WERE FOLDED AT THE CENTER AND DISTRIBUTED TO GUESTS OF THE MOTEL WITH A REGULAR BEATLES 45 SINGLE PLACED INSIDE. THE FLYERS WERE STAPLED TO HOLD THE RECORD IN PLACE.

ONLY A HANDFUL HAVE BEEN FOUND IN ITS ORIGINAL 14˝" X 8˝" FACTORY RELEASED UNTRIMMED, UNFOLDED STATE. THIS EXAMPLE IS ONE OF THEM - STORED AWAY FOR THE LAST 50+ YEARS. THE PIECE APPEARS THAT IT JUST rolled off the LOS ANGELES FACTORY production line YESTERDAY.
